Yeah. They varies depending on your budget.

You can get shopping cart pepared for you with domain, hosting & desugn easily but you will need to enter your products yourself.

Or instead, are you looking for a turnkey solution?

Hello bob - what type of online store are you planning to start? It may be cheaper if you got some of your services from a couple of different providers.

Domain registration may be something you want to keep separate, and point TO the host. This is not necessarily a pro or con, but it is a personal prefrence of mine. That way if you ever decide to change hosts or services, you have your domain at your complete dispoal.

Depending on what you plan to sell, will depend on what type of cart you may use. Shopping cards range greatly in fees so its important that you let someone kno what you are planning to sell, and if you need any special features included. Also, certain shopping carts are integrated with certain payment gateways. You will need to get a merchant account provider, and order a payment gateway before selecting a shopping cart. <<Snipped>>

There are many solutions in the market and even free ones. If you never had an on line store I suggest studding first cause there is a lot to learn. There is one that I truly recommend and it is called "CandyPress (http://www.candypress.com)". It is very cheap and have almost anything you need.

Hi,

If I may recommend an all in one solution that includes shopping cart, set up and integrated for you, domain, hosting, ssl security and more, then you should checkout www.ActiveCheckout.com. Great service and great prices as their base package allows you to list up to 10,000 items at once without any listing or transaction fees and it only costs you $31.95 a month.

I can speak to their service as I use them on one of my sites at www.AgileAffiliates.com. Take care.

I really appreciated all of your responses. I am planning to start an online store that mainly sell cell phone related products such as cell phones, cases, cables, charger etc. My budget is about 500 dollars. I am new to e-commerce. I want to find a all-in-one solution to get me started first. I checked out the yahoo store and I found that their web templates are not very good in my opinion. Thanks

Hi,

No problem. Actually if you go with ActiveCheckout.com it is very easy to get a great design for your store. If you do not like the templates they offer it is very easy to customize your own template to work with your store. We made a custom design and integrated it into to their systems. Only took us about 30 minutes to do so.

Also if you contact them they can help you do this. You can even purchase a template from one of the template sites out there and their in house designers can actually take it and implement it into their store system for you at no cost:). Plus they definitely offer an all in one solution:).
