I have a couple of VPS' with them for my own stuff - I can't complain about support (for the most part), or anything really relating to their service directly.

Did you try to email them and see if you receive a reply after 12 hours?

If their live support is offline, that doesn't mean you won't get a reply via email at all.

Try to email them.

I am considering JaguarPC's reseller plan, also.

If anyone would like to post a review, it would be much appreciated. :)

I have been with Jag for awhile (over 2 years), both as a Reseller and a Regular Customer (reseller first, then I sold out, now I am thinking about comming back in as a reseller again)

When I signed up with Jag they only offered their "managed" reseller plans, no bulk or vps, and it was great

Now with the Bulk and vps plans it is even better

Never had any major problems with support, Response times are always very vast.

as far as the Live chat, that is a pretty new thing for JPC, I dont think it is fully supported as of yet, but I could be wrong. As with most host they prefer support request to go through the help desk.

All in all one of, if not the, best host I have ever been with

Thankyou, O Ancient One!

I hope you meant "fast" and not "vast"... :D

lol, well the support is vast, but it is also fast:peace:
I dont use it very much though, no need:) the ticket log as me in there since 2/2004 I have logged in 45 tickets in that time, almost all of them where config changes I needed made either to the server or dns

there are the response times from my tickets from the beginning of the year. Remeber when you looking at these times that a few of them were account upgrades or other billing issuses that are handled by a seperate sales staff that work normal business hours

and some of them required more than one update on my part for total resolution, In all cases I got a first respone very qucikly, under 1hr in most cases

Top --> Open Time
Bottom -> the time I closed the ticket

Thanks, Ancient! :)

Looks good!

I've signed up for an account with them, and will post a review on WHT in the coming weeks/months.

what exactly they mean of "managed" ?

managed basically refers to load balencing

You sign up for that service and you resell premade packages that are distrbuted by jag through out jags server farm. You dont have WHM access becuase your accounts will be placed on more than one server,

You dont have to worry about space and buying more accounts or upgrading your reseller space, but you lose most of the control and some profit.

Both have their advantages

Their support is good, friendly and fast (I had contacted them for several times but support of my current provider is faster than JaguarPC) and they looks reliable. But they additional charge for RVSKIN(I think it was $2/month) and backup. Also I had heard that the servers are working slowly from some people. But most of the reviews are positive. Good luck.

I think most of the complaint are comming from the VPS side and from people expecting too much from a low level VPS plan ;)

and server backups are done by them incase of hardware corruption, but you have no access to the data, and they recommend, as do I, you do your own back ups for your own use and just incase there backups are corrupted, they are not, nor do I know of any host this, responible for loss of data. Unlike some host however they give you the tools to cheaply and effectly do this, and tell you to UPFRONT

We also even have an extra backup service for people wantnig to manage their own but few take advantage of it. Some people backup their backups...you can never have enough.

For the most part - my tickets have been answered promptly and professionally (I recall a couple of tickets that werent answered/updated faster than I'd like - but, that's just me and not neccessarily a reflection of JaguarPC).

I can also recommend JaguarPC, there ticket response time is usually less then 5 minutes.

I use them for Managed Reseller. I havent really used their servers much (most of my clients are on a different reseller) so cant comment on the server performance but their support is quick and activating accounts on Managed Reseller is also quick.

One thing I dont really like is their Managed Reseller control panel. It really needs a new skin.
