Sidus Hosting is offering several Supermicro-based server packages that run off the latest available Xeon dual-core processor. The new Xeon server processors have both excellent performance and run much cooler for a longer-life of hardware. Each of our packages comes with two dual-core processors for a total of 4 processors. Each comes with remote power reboot at no additional cost and also comes with the option of running Linux or FreeBSD by default. As we custom build our server packages, if you would rather have SCSI, let us know and we can get you a quote.

Network:

All of our servers and routers are connected via Gigabit switches and high-quality CAT-6 cable with CAT-6 rated connectors. We do not run any legacy 10/100Mbps ports on our network. Our network consists of connectivity to battery backup and generators, a Gigabit backbone, and we host our network via a provider that has redundant routers with primary / protection rings via SONET.
