I want to sync my time with a server preferably in the central time zone of the us. Can anyone provide me with the ntp command that would sync my time with a central us time server?

ntpdate otc2.psu.edu

That should update it... Of course put the server you want in there :D

Here's a list of Public NTP Servers. They ask that you use stratum 2 servers and some of them may require an email to let them know you are using them.
