Sorry, please delete. straphael 05-22-2006, 02:30 PM Is it unique SEO articles you require? JR tammyhart 05-23-2006, 09:49 AM no, just looking for ya'll to recommend a good person. I knew that if i put this in the ad forums that i would get slammed with ppl fghting to do it for me, so i thought just having someone say, "oh, so-and-so is good at this, use him", would be more helpful Thanks ContentWebWriter 05-23-2006, 12:07 PM Basically, you want someone to do the SEO for you, but you don't want to see offers? I don't understand that. You don't 'have' to select anyone you don't want to. I am sure there are a number of quality SEO companies here who could show you their results, which is what you need to see. tammyhart 05-23-2006, 12:15 PM What I don't want, is people fighting for lower bids, then I choose someone, and they do a terrible job. What I DO want, is for someone to suggest a pro that did their site. Just like when someone is needing a designer, and one of my past clients suggests me because they were happy with my work. I don't want to look at examples of work, I want to hear someone say, "they are good at what they do." ContentWebWriter 05-23-2006, 12:21 PM But their best mate could come in and say, "This guy did great!" You'd have a biased opinion. If you want to see what they can do, ask about examples. Which websites did they work for? For example, I have done work for LifeTips.com and their various SEO projects for other websites. I could recommend them for your SEO, but you would want to see what they can do. So they would probably point to one of their clients: MasterTanning.com, which is in the top ten under tanning beds. I'm just trying to help you find the best, don't get me wrong. It can be very easy to find out who is going to be the best for your website by simply looking at the client lists. Artashes 05-23-2006, 12:25 PM Basically, you want someone to do the SEO for you, but you don't want to see offers? I don't understand that. tammyhart is looking for recommendations, not offers. What's not to understand? But their best mate could come in and say, "This guy did great!" You'd have a biased opinion. Those are easy to verify if you start contacting all the clients asking for feedback. tammyhart 05-23-2006, 12:27 PM I appreciate your help. I really don't know much about SEO. I know that it is complicated and you can't just learn it over night. I've had a few offers via pm, and I'm just wary that i'll put out the money, and not get good results. the ppl that did the SEO for mastertaning.com certainly sound good, but probably are way out of my budget. I was hoping someone that has a good reputation would come along and say, "My hosting clients have doubled since I used, this person." or something of the like. I guess I'm just really afraid of wasting money, since every penny is worth alot to me and my family. ContentWebWriter 05-23-2006, 12:46 PM I can understand that. I have had some negative experiences with 'references' before, people's friends emailing me that so-and-so is great when they are a complete newbie. I'd ask the referenced SEO provider for examples. I do hope you find someone. And I love your designs. Artashes 05-23-2006, 12:48 PM I've had a few offers via pm Tammy, those offers are against the WHT policy, and those users should be reported to Moderators for solicitation. JBIZ718 05-23-2006, 02:09 PM Here you go The only two companies that I would recommend after spending alot of time on this is: www.linkateer.com www.submitawebsite.com Both companies will take care of you Joe tammyhart 05-23-2006, 02:12 PM Tammy, those offers are against the WHT policy, and those users should be reported to Moderators for solicitation. I didn't mind them, really. do i have to report them? |
