I'm considering these three hosts:

CyberPixels (http://www.cyberpixels.com) (NeoPixel)
Netacore (http://www.netacore.com) (Lite)
SpiderSaid (http://www.spidersaid.com) (Promo)

I'm currently using CP - and they're great, except my priority 1 ticket took one hour, 30 minutes to be answered. That may not seem like a lot, but I kinda expect faster support x.x

Does anyone have any other opinions on the other two hosts? I've read the recent Netacore topic, but there's been both good and bad comments. I can't find much on SpiderSaid, and they seem somewhat unprofessional to me, but their Promo seems great.

Edit: I submitted a helpdesk ticket to SpiderSaid and got a response in 24 minutes... and they sound pretty friendly. Part of the reponse:

"With that introduction, we are pleased to inform you that we don't set a limit that is engraved in stone for the number of ftp accounts or email accounts etc... If you need 20, 30, 100, 300 you will get it free of charge. whenever you need more, just let us know. To start with, we would enable your account for 300 pop accounts and 20 mysql databases and 50 ftp accounts. Again if you need more, just let us know."

That sounds pretty good, but er..does it sound suspicious?

I know that we all expect the moon as far as the services we receive from hosting companies but myself and many others on this board have been through enough horror stories not to consider 1h30 mn a good response time.
there are companies out there that respond after days or weeks.
If I was you i'd thank my lucky star for the good service and support and stick with what works.
1h30 mn is a pretty darn good response time.
just my $0.02

I think a response whether 24 minutes or 90 minutes is just excellent.

My only comment is a question - what do you expect in the way of service when you are paying a whole 6.00 a month for service?

Think about it.

Mike

PS:Personally I think that managed server support & plans should be far more expensive than they are.

And I am not selling anything... I'm a consumer.

If you want "faster" support, then spend some money! A response time of under 3 hours is excellent, and under 6 hours is still very good. All three of the hosts that you listed are on the same network, so no matter who you choose, you'll be back on the same network.

i agree with badr....that response time for support is bloody good!! my experience with hosts has been response times usually within the 24 hour mark, which is generally seen as acceptable.

Well yesterday that was some issue with my site, it was resolved within few hours. Which I think is still acceptable.
