Hello Everyone,

Currently I am seeking some additional programming work. At this time it does not matter whether its a small job or a large job, although I would prefer larger projects.

Background Information

I am most proficient at PHP and MySQL. I have been programming in both PHP and MySQL for over a year and half now, I've created many scripts for both friends and clients over this time. I know when a client needs something done, they need it done then. I understand this and try and work my best to suit all time schedules both mine and of course, yours. Although I specialize in PHP and MySQL, I can do many other things. I'm as others would say an experienced administrator around vBulletin and phpBB, so of course I can easily install hacks and customize hacks. Depending on the size of the hack I may even be able to create a hack you need that may not be available for free (please note that I only develop hacks for vBulletin and not phpBB). I have been administrating a few boards for over a year now, and moderate a few as well so I know the ins and outs of vB. I can also slice templates, that are fully W3C validated. I can slice without tables (XHTML Strict) and with tables (not recommended, but XHTML Transitional). I know a great amount of (X)HTML and of course, CSS. I can develop almost any website that you may need done (beside the designing aspect, but the great folks over at Equentity (http://www.equentity.com), would be more then happy to design it for you), whether it be both PHP/MySQL or just using simple XHTML and CSS. I am as many call me an Online Handyman. If you are not sure if I can do it, please contact me!

Why Hire Me

There are hundreds of thousands of fully qualified programmers out there on WHT and the rest of the Internet. So why would you pick me out of them? There is no simple response to that, but in my opinion and experience you must trust your "gut feeling". If you think he/she's the man for the job, then contact! If you don't think he is, ask yourself why, if you have a good response simply go on to another. However, experience is the biggest factor in my mind. There are many other factors, quality etc. I've gathered this list together of myself, on why you would want to hire myself and not another programmer out there.

I've been programming for over a year and half.
I record all testimonials about myself even if they are not good and display them.
I know how it feels to be on the other side of the fence - the client side. I've went through many designers that fail my standards, I know how frustrating it is to find that perfect match, programmer or designer. I'll try my best to live up to your standards.
I understand all client's needs and schedule, which is why the client is always first in my book. I try my best to work the client around my schedule to fit in the most time to work and finish the project.
I fulfill most of my timelines. When the project is accepted, I give out a timeline on when it'll be done etc, I typically am successful in achieving my first-timeline, but most of the time I'm ahead of the game.

Rates

It is very hard to come up with a standard rate. The diversity of all projects is too great to come up with anything standard. Typically, I charge per project but if its a smaller project I'll charge per hour, amount per hour being judged on the job. I expect a "good sum", majority of the time it is 50% upfront and the rest after the script is in your hands fully working. I'll make any changes to the script if needed, and repair any bugs up to 3 months, providing you didn't change anything in the script to cause the bug. If you want to know about the price of your project would be, feel free to request a free quote.

Past Work

As I've said I've been programming and working online for over a year and half now, during this time I documented most of the work (the "bigger" projects) into my portfolio. All my work, and testimonials are authentic. If you would like to contact anyone of my past clients, please get a hold of me so I can ask the client (otherwise it would be an invasion of privacy). You can access my temporary portfolio here (http://php.cbttechs.com/tylercole/portfolio.html).

Contact

If you believe I am the right candidate for you, if you have a question or anything along those lines please contact me. While I'm not around the computer all day, but I am around it the majority of the time (I work during the day without access to a PC), so please give me a little bit of time to respond to you.

If you choose to email me you can do so, here (http://php.cbttechs.com/tylercole/contact.html).
