But they seem to have tons of customers, even rackshack is paying 15 $ to be listed.

the keywords for casino, and gambling are pretty high too. I didnt have any idea how high "dedicated server" was though, thats utterly rediculous!

I take my hat off to Overture.com [the PPC SE formerly known as Prince ;)]. They have a good business model. They can be extremely cost effective if you can find the right keywords and you gotta love the control you have as to what rank you are listed. Not to mention their syndication deals with most of the SEs around looking for a slice of the Overture pie.

But they are not a search engine. IMO, the only true search engine left is Google. Long live King Google!! :D

Okay, it's time for the truth to be known. How many of you clicked on the first result under Dedicated Servers just for fun? Come on now, be honest. You know you did it.

If we are ever pissed of at a company, how about clicking the same link 1,000,000 times?

I guess it could keep your cookie, but maybe we can make them go bankrupt

I think they register a session for some time. you can always use some proxy servers and then you can 'eat' their marketing budget and make overture more profitable .)

(1). It will only record your click once every 24hr cycle etc, or something like that anyways.

(2). Even if you could, you would only drain what they had in their account. They have to pay Overture.com upfront and once those funds are depleted, their link is removed from the listings.
