Nothing. It looks like another spammer trying to sell something.
Back to ontopic... I can't tell you anything about API (I don't have a need to use it), but DirectI main services were off-line quite often in the past, especcially while they were working on their ResellerClub/SuperSite projects. Each time it was some kind prior notice from them though. I am not aware were these profilactics affecting their API system.
eNom is quite well known for their solid infrastructure. I can recall only one *major* downtime this March (or was it February) when just everything with eNom went wrong... It wasn't fixed for a couple of days or so...
Anyway, good luck!
Indichosts.net 05-22-2006, 03:45 AM DirectI downtimes are always on weekends. They have exceeded the scheduled period by a few hours at times.
Since, the ResellerClub interface launch there has been one downtime when they upgraded the system.

How often? Every weekend? Once a month? 6 times a year?

Nobody will be able to tell you about the API, I think. The main site had a profilactics quite often (perhaps once every 6-7 weeks) while they implemented their ResellerClub/SuperSite projects. I am not aware have these downtimes affected their API.

Are you sure these dates were affecting their API? I am not...
Indichosts.net 05-23-2006, 03:55 AM This is what they write,
"Affected systems: OrderBox Reseller Storefront, Domain Management Control Panels, Whois services"
"Affected Services: Registration, Renewal, Transfer, Modification, Whois lookup for domain names as well as other Additional Services"
"Affected systems: OrderBox Reseller Storefront,Domain Management Control Panels, Whois service"
Stan Marsh 05-23-2006, 04:02 AM I understand API is "Application Program Interface", a set of routines, protocols, and tools for building software applications... That's why I wasn't so sure was THAT affected.
