It is strongly urged that you have them, as many mailservers will not accept mail from mailservers with no reverse DNS entry. The problem MX records are:

You need to setup Reverse DNS for your IP. Like 103.230.57.65.in-addr.arpa vortechhosting.com.

My only probs were

NS.HOSTINWORLD7.COM.
NS2.HOSTINWORLD7.COM.
ERROR: One of more of your mail server(s) have no reverse DNS (PTR) entries. RFC1912 2.1 says you should have a reverse DNS for all your mail servers. 197.122.23.208.in-addr.arpa [No reverse DNS entry]
How do I fix

ERROR: One or more of the nameservers listed at the root servers are not listed as NS records at your nameservers. The problem NS records are:
NS.HOSTINWORLD7.COM.

You don't have name server records for
NS.HOSTINWORLD7.COM.
NS2.HOSTINWORLD7.COM.

Thats what it is telling you.. In your dns you can make a NS Record like this

NS.HOSTINWORLD7.COM. = 127.0.0.1
NS2.HOSTINWORLD7.COM. = 127.0.0.2

Its not an A record but an NS record not sure how you do that in Plesk it should of done ti for you i think

Lame nameservers ERROR: You have one or more lame nameservers. These are nameservers that do NOT answer authoritatively for your domain. This is bad; for example, these nameservers may never get updated. The following nameservers are lame:
207.218.xxx.xx

I am lame haha

Only one fail here, and that says that there are only 2 name servers but 3 are recommended. :)

Blah, it warns me about stuff that doesn't even matter. I have reasons for setting the TTL to 5 minutes. :mad:

I think it's funny how it gives a warning for it's own domain, www.dnsreport.com :)

No errors here.
Was there any doubt ;)

Guess it helps that I'm not using a CP and actually know what I'm doing :-P

Pretty handy site though.

Yea if your doing it by hand and have done it for some time you know its going to be right. But I have found all kinds of problems in CPanel, H-Sphere, Ensim, Plesk and them all on there default setup of DNS.. :) None of them seem to set it up all right..
