I am just wondering if anyone using sfcommerce's merchant account. I cant seem to find their rates on their website. How is their service? Any good and bad comment about them?

I use it.
but I plan to move more of the transactions to Planetpayment, I'll keep Sfcommerce only for yearly/bi-yearly billing.

I wont move because is bad, but only because they do not support recurring billing, and its a pain.

The transaction rates are $0.25+2.35% per transactions, very low as you can see, their support is ok, sometimes slow to answer (more than 24 hours)

I am thinking Planetpayment too. But I cant find their rates either. Email them twice asking for their rate and they dont seem to give me a direct answer.

Oh by the way, you sure Sfcommerce doesnt support recurring billing. They just email me back telling me that they do, as long as you point to their processing engine.

Well.. but I can't find any billing software that support Sfcommerce :(

BTW, if you're incorporated in USA, Planetpayment rates are

$395 setup fee
Discount Rate: 3.49% (Visa/MC)
Discount Rate: 3.75% (Amex)*
Per Transaction: $0.35
Monthly Fee: $35.00

Jedito,

Did you know that PlanetPayment charges $35 USD per chargeback?

Also did you know:

If you REFUTE a chargeback, they usually don't care and award the charge to the customer..

You cannot charge more than 1 month. No annual charges. If they catch you doing this, you're toasted.

Support... No reply for weeks!

PP really get on our nerves and given the chance to move, we would be out in 2 seconds.

The support issue I have to agree with. Only needed planetpayment's support once, and there was one ever one reply, a month after I e-mailed them, saying they'd pass it onto support. Wasn't that who I was e-mailing?? Never heard back from them.

They use authorize.net's gateway and is the main reason we picked them. Our rates are close to Jedito's quote though our initial setup was lower. As it's hardly been used the monthly fee is up to $45(US) a month, but should drop again once it gets used more.

I am with jedito...SFCommerce is good, but a bit behind the needs of the client. Although, Jedito, have you seen this - https://payment.firepay.com/stt/smartswipe/reg/faq.jsp

This is a different payment product they offer; since they seem to have so many differnt things, I asked, and they sent me this link ;-)

Cheers,
B

Sfcommerce charge $15 per chargeback.

You can't refute a chargeback with SF.
That's why I'll still keep SF, I charge monthly with Planet Payment, and annually with SFcommerce.

Anybody know a better option?, I don't like either worldpay.

Is worldpay a third party merchant or full merchant?

I'm not sure, I think that's a 3rd party MA.
