Dear Comistic.com Customers.
In the last week we were made aware of an ownership change in the company we get our NT connection from. We immediately had to renegotiate our agreement with them and have spent the last few days feverishly trying to come up with an agreement that was near to our old agreement. Unfortunately the new owners have been unwilling to lower their new fees (which are quadruple the old costs) and as of tonight we were issued a 72 hour notice to sign or withdraw.
As you all know comistic has had a very tough month or two and at we have just been keeping our heads above water for the last 30 days. In fact the NT division of our company lost thousands last month due to spammers and warez distributors.
So it is with heavy hearts that we must inform you that we are closing our NT division effective 48 hours from tonight. Those that have yearly accounts will have the choice to switch to Unix, or will be put in a queue to receive refunds. To be very candid comistic simply does not have the funds in which to pay all refunds at this moment, after paying a $15,000 over line charge last month. However by keeping our Unix division open we hope to have the yearly accounts paid back with in 2 months. We promise that we WILL be making refunds as quickly as possible. Refunds will be issued to those that have signed up most recently first and we will work backwards.
Below is a link, please go to it and tell us what course of action you would like to take. Also there is a place there for you to express yourself with. Please do not contact our staff with complaints about this situation, as they are as powerless to stop it as we are. Instead please fill in the provided box and we will have a management personnel read your comments.

We would like to thank all of you for your understanding through this. We know this is a great inconvenience to many of you, as it is to us. We were taken by surprise by the recent acquisition of our supplier and wish that it had never happened. It seems now a days the large companies get larger and the small companies go bankrupt. Anyway thanks again.
