Is purchasing a typo'd www name for reselling illegal in anyway? It's alot like realestate! lol

If its a typo for a company name/trademark with deep pockets and a tendancy to sue they could take offense and go to court or ICANN to take the domain. It'd be unlikely, but there's never any guarantee of which way it'd go. Though this tends to be more about using variations of trademarked names and the owners "intent" with said domain.

If you're just buying it, then selling to another party, they'll be the ones liable if they attempt to use or profit from it.
