New great deal from www.fdcservers.net

Need a low end box for lowest price around ??? Need something for learning linux, email or DNS server or low traffic webhosting????

both low end servers are on shared 10mbit port...guaranteed minimum of 100GB/month...the bandwidth is un-metered so if you push more you don`t pay anything extra
Each server gets 1 IP and can get more free of charge with justificaton

1.
Pentium 200Mhz
96MB RAM
2.5GB HDD

$39/month + $45 setup
prepay for 3 months and setup is FREE
OR
pay $370 for entire year , that`s 2 months of service FREE :-)

30 boxes left

2.
Pentium II 400Mhz
128MB RAM
6.4GB

$55/month + $69 setup
prepay for 3 months and setup is FREE
OR
pay $549 for entire year , that`s 2 months of service FREE :-)

Hard drive upgrades

20GB $79

Hey Petr,

I don't intend on posting anything negative here, but why do these low end servers come with free justified IP's when extra IP's on the basic dedicated server cost $3 each. It just seems a little bit crosswired to me to offer free IP's with the cheapest servers and then charging for them or the regular servers.

As far as the rest of your business is concerned, keep up the great work. I'm one happy customer and have heared plenty of other people with nothing but good to say.

Regards.

actually we stopped charging for IPs like 2-3 months ago, we just need a justification :-)

That's very nice Petr, not that I need any at the moment. In that case you may want to edit the text on your site for the dedicated server deal I mentioned. It still states you charge $3 per IP on that deal.

I'm talking about this (http://www.fdcservers.net/pricingdedicated.htm) page :)

customers who got this service can confirm that there was no charge

I assume for these lower end servers the control panel is Webmin? Also, are there any free upgrades available if one pre-pays in advance? (As in your other dedicated servers)

Thanks for your assistance :)

hey,

they come without CP but we can install webmin free of charge. You`ll get the full access to the root so you can install anything you like.
we waive the setup fee if prepaid for 3 months and if you prepay for the whole year you pay NO setup plus get 2 months free

I'm assuming that you provide secondary name servers, or primary name servers, if we don't want to run them on our own server?

Why should they? Actually I find companies who do that somehow unprofessional/suspicious. Use your own imagination WHY I feel that way

EDIT: I just got the PII offer and prepayed for 6 MONTHS in order to get 256MB RAM (instead of 128) FOR FREE. Could choose OS, took Red Hat 7.3
Also, looking at above "IP issue" I can hereby confirm to have gotten 20 FREE IPs :)
