I really should not be on the computer after being sick (and still sick) for 5 days, cause now the little stuff is getting to me.

I've always ben fond of "auto complete helping me fill out redundant items like email addresses, name, etc. but it seems that Auto-complete is on vacation and has been on vacation since I installed Win2k on this box (My new homebuilt BTW :D ).

It appears that it cant also remember passwords to FTP, and protected directories. I dunno about anybody else, but I have many different passwords that are random letters (upper and lowercase) and numbers and these get to be a real pain to repeatedly type in.

I originally had IE 5.0 then upgraded to 5.1 then to 5.5, then to 6.0 and this issue still insnt resolved... Does anyone have any ideas?

I attached a login box when I access phpMyAdmin for my website. Note there is no checkbox for "Remember Password".

I wil not install any other 3rd party utility for this simple feature built into Windows.

My passwords are like: cF4sDa32hG (I just thought of this one for example)... now imagine having at least 45 PW like this and you'll see my pain.

Yes... in Control Panel > Internet Optons > Content > Auto-complete I have all but "promt me to save passwords" checked.

Something (instinct, maybe???) is telling me its a Registry problem, but I may be wrong. This doesnt warrant a format and reinstall of windows.

*sigh*

Yea... let me beta test software when I'm sick... it will never leave beta testing, as I always run into "Hmm... Never heard of that problem before." syndrome :mad  :D ;)

I'm quick huh? :D

No.. it just asks if you want to save passwords, it *should* save passwords without asking "Do you want to save this password?".

Saving passwords has its own checkmark, which is checked. ;)

Opera is great, only if it didnt screw up on javascript applets or windows. Or sometimes it has crazy alignment. or maybe that is just my problem.
