I currently run a gaming site (55k+ unique visitors a month and increasing) and am about to build a second community that will go along with it. It's unique in the world and is growing at an amazing pace.
This second site will be much larger (in terms of content) and will also attract roughly 10-15x more traffic (I can explain in further detail for those who are interested).
I would like a design for this new site - I can provide you with graphics and you can do the layout for me - and perhaps some additional graphic work can be done.
For those who have php/mysql skills, I'd like the site programmed as well. Also, this second site will be an umbrella site with various communities under it (and tied together with by a central forum) - and I have several ideas already for various sub-communities that would require template design, and one with php/mysql work.
I am certain this site will be a hit (because of the communities, websites, and people involved) and will attract a lot of traffic.
I can offer adspace in return for your design - a designed by link on every page of the site, and a special mention under our special thanks page (as on our current site). As I run a community-based site, all of our users are quite giving and thankful and often give back to the community by using the services of our sponsors and partners. So if you run a webdesign / development firm, and would like some exposure, or a great addition to your portfolio, this is a great opportunity.
Further, I'm considering redesigning the first site, and would like some php/mysql conversion done to it. Again, depending on the interest involved in this project, we can see how it pans out.
