Has anyone successfully done it with the standard version of Plesk yet? If so how? If you don't know what I mean then you probably haven't. Ignorant comments need not be posted. Thanks in advance.

P.S.
Yes I know I know, check the perldesk site, or the plesk site. Allready did, before anyone says so.

I run PerlDesk on a Plesk PSA 2.5.1 based server, if it is that what you mean...
You need to install the required PerlModules given in the PerlDesk Documentation though at a ll costs. Otherwise it wont work.

If you mean email piping it's actually pretty easy, thanks to Dan ;)

Hey Frozen, ya, I did it. I even have figured out how to install it in 5 minutes for a reseller if they want it.
If you need help (advice or whatever) just let me know. ;-)

I got all that, I want it to connect to the psa database so customers can just use there loging on PSA at perldesk to without ghaving to sign up again and all that

Well that should be relatively easy. You can have PSA and Perl Desk tables in ONE single (psa) db and then "just" have to modify the Perl Desk and look for access to the user db and chang eit to the psa_usr table...

Integrating perl desk in to plesk would be nice, but there are some downsides. First, connecting a 3rd party script to Plesk may cause support issues with Plesk. Second, if perl desk corrupts the PSA over time, are you prepared to deal with that. Third, In our case, we have perl desk running on a separate support server so that if by some twist of fate one of our hosting servers goes down, the means to open a support ticket are not lost. Just my two cents
