Hi,

I am new to the forum. I am currently hosted with hostexcellence.com and their service is great, but I am looking to get reseller hosting, which they don't and won't offer. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions. I currently am paying $5 US per month and hope to try and keep the budget low, as I really don't need alot of space. All these companies offer 10GB of space, but with a 50kbps upstream that would take quite a while. SO basically, any suggestions on a place with good customer support (I really like have live chat AND a toll-free number), cheap reseller accounts, a background, and database support would be much appreciated.

Your best bet is to look through reviews on this forum, look through offers are requests, search on google. Find a list of companies that offer what you need then search for reviews of them here on WHT. This should greatly narrow your search. If you are looking for a bit more help, you might want to be more specific with what you are looking for (ie: control panel, space/bw,cost, etc)

Ok, well basically I don't care what the control panel is, I can adapt. The space needs to be 750 mb minimum, bandwidth needs to be about 15gb, but I am flexible there. I need mySQL databases (unlimited prefered), unlimited email addresses (or alot of them) and price wise, hopefully less than $12 per month (USD)

I looked there, all their hosting is pretty darn pricey, I have looked at budgetreseller and their plans are great! Anyone have experience with them? I mean $6 for what you get, its a good deal. Does anyone have a reseller host that can beat 1GB of space and 20GB of bandwidth for $6 CDN a month?

$6 CAD ~ $5.4 USD/month for 1GB space and 20GB transfer. Well... it's totally different than your above posts ;) Are you looking for a quality or just a budget provider?

I think for the price you are looking you will not be able to get reseller with chat and phone support.

There's no saying you can't have a budget provider that has quality services. I think it's important to make the difference between "budget" and "ridiculous" known.

I'll take an example of a company from this thread: budgetreseller.com

Greg runs a budget hosting company, after all it says so right in the company name. While I would agree with Greg that his company targets people on a lower budget, his prices and features are not on the low end of the budget market. His services, features and reputation make for a good combination.

It isn't always a case of go budget or go premium. There is some happy mediums in there, it's just a case of finding them :)

i think, first of all short list some of companies, find the reviews and go for one, read plans and review about
site5
hostgator
resellerpanel

and more

yes, but does anyone have any real sugestions?

All of the "quotes" I have recieved are nonsense, one place pretends they have reseller accounts when all it is is an affiliate program. REAL SUGGESTIONS PLEASE, only one person has for me so far

Have you taken a look at www.allreseller.com? I've been with them for a few months (so it's about time I got off my butt and did a review) and have been pretty happy with them. The fact that I'm still with them (I'm very picky) is a good indication that there have been no problems and that the meet MY personal needs well enough for me to remain a customer.

What do you mean by quotes? Members contacted you with pricing information?
