I am searching for a PHP/mySQL programmer or possibly a program that already exists. I am the volunteer webmaster and member of a wheelchair sports organization. We are a non-profit organization and all of our board/staff is on a volunteer basis. We currently have a league with 5 teams, and this will expand over time. We are in need of a volunteer PHP/MySQL programmer to help us make our game statistics system/pages. We specifically are looking for a web based system to manage our hockey leagues local game/player statistics.

Currently we manually enter in the scores/stats into a multi-page Excel spreadsheet and it totals the weekly/season and individual player statistics. Then we enter those totals into a static HTML page (using tables) for each weeks games. Its a very time consumming task that involves more than one person, so we end up getting behind in our stats.

What we would ideally like is a system where our statkeeper could enter the stats right on the web site through a password protected web page and then have the stats page automatically generated for each game, season and individual player totals. We have around 50 players on 5 teams which play a game every other weekend. Around 12 games per season. We would like this to be expandable for future teams/players in our league and we would like it to be able to be installed on future divisions web sites (so a set of installation instructions would be nice).

We are willing to give you a button/small banner link on our sponsors/contributors page of our site and a "Sports Stats By" tagline on the bottom of our stats pages. If you are willing to do this on a volunteer basis.

Our whole current web site is static pages, we are even open to any suggestions for an easy to update content management systems you may have of know of. We currently just use frames and Dreamweaver Templates with our custom graphics/interface. But this is not required. Our main need is a web based hockey stats system.

Yeah I checked hot scripts awhile back and did not see anything other than web site stats stuff. If you guys know of anything, let me know. Otherwise I think this is a custom job. We had one guy working on a really neat system that could have been sold even to other leagues, but he was busy with work and had to stop the project and I can understand that. Maybe this is something a few programmers could work on even. We would like to have this working within a month if possible. If you want to design this PHP/mysql program, then PM me with your email address and I can start discussing this with you. If you want to work as a group, pm me and I will send out a list to all who are helping and we can get this done.
