We are trying to allow people to upload images to our server that will be displayed at 500 X 350.

What we are looking for is an off-the-shelf program that will allow people to upload images, but should we have a program that allows them to manipulate the image themselves or should we have a program that does the re-sizing & cropping automatically.

People may want to upload skyscraper images that will look silly if the are auto-resized, you know squished.

Any thoughts?

I can write a code in php for you. It'll upload and resize the image too..
