I am using Safari 2.0.3 (417.9.2) on Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger). In the main menu at the top, I get can the search field/"Advanced Search" drop-down box to appear by clicking Search, but if I put something into the field and hit Enter/Return nothing happens. Also, nothing happens when I click "Advanced Search". When I enter one of the forums, and use the "Search This Forum" link, everything works fine. Same with "Search This Thread": fine again. Just not the main Search drop-down link. This may help, too: when I mouseover "Advanced Search" on the two links that work, the background turns blue, not so with the main Search dropdown link.
Anyone else having the same problem? Could it be a CSS or JavaScript conflict with the way Safari is rendering the page?

I have had this error for several months now (I use Safari 2.0.3 as well), and iNet is more than aware of this situation. They have yet to make any effort to resolve this issue.

Yes. It's a known bug in this design. It's on The Prohacker's ever expanding To-Do list. Hopefully it reaches the top of it soon.
While we wait, you can use the Search link (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php) in the footer.
Maybe we can get this bumped to the top this coming week.

That would be great :D
Oh I can definitely get by, it's just that it's a royal pain in the @ss not to be able to use the top one. Oh well. :D

That hardly sounds like a solution.
