Hi!
All these web host search tools are great, if you can specify your current situation OK. They'll throw up a plan to suit.
But I'm confused how to do a decent host search given my concerns about where I am now compared to where I want to be in say 6-12 months time.
I just ain't figured out a way to say,
"Well this is me now but I want this later".
And if I search for now or later separately I just end up with huge lists ... too many to check.
I need a strategy to narrow this process down and am a bit stuck as to how ...
So here's my situation:
The site will begin life static.
It will grow to include PHP databases
May need limited ASP.
May desire some kind of multi media in a year (but can live without)
Bandwidth (not quite sure how to calclate this yet) but for first 3 mths will be virtually non-existent.
How do calculate for PHP? I've never done any ... it's a skill I'm yet to learn.
.
Also I've no idea how much webspace PHP code takes as I've never wirtten any, how does this work, how do I specify future rqt's?
Budget inc PHP (likely we'll have a 8 sets of team statistics needing to feed into a 2 master sets)
I've no idea how to go about defining my rqt's to a host
For the purpose of this exercise let's discount multimedia it's not likely to happen
Budget inc expanded service is likely to be around £10 per month and with host to be UK based. Can this be done?
What pointers can people give.
I hope this request is within bounds ... still finding my feet ... and little clue what I'm doing at present LOL.
