Here's a question for eNom resellers: The pricing on domain name registrations looks good, and eNom also offers hosting packages. However, it looks like they don't support the use of SSL by hosted accounts. This seems like a big drawback. Or am I missing something?

If you want to use dedicated SSL, you need dedicated IP. I am not sure eNom will give you one.

Can I ask - Why on earth you need eNom's hosting?

In their online documentation, eNom states that they don't support SSL in their hosting accounts. Perhaps that's because they don't provide dedicated IP.

I don't specifically need eNom's hosting, but my web development business has outgrown my present domain registration and hosting arrangements. So I'm looking for new arrangements, and considering becoming a reseller.

I've been investigating eNom because it has often been recommended here for domain registration. I learned that, if I were to become an eNom reseller, I could offer hosting and SSL certificates through them as well as domain name registration. This seemed like a nice thing until I saw in the online documentation that they don't support SSL for their hosting accounts. That seemed strange, so I was wondering if I was missing something. Apparently not.

This week eNom started offering/supporting SSL on their web hosting accounts.
