We are doing recurring billing for our product which is used by our customers for a specified amount of time. If our customer crosses the specified time, we do not suspend his service but we bill him at an extra rate for that extra time. How could I bill my customer for that extra time automatically? With recurring billing I could bill him his normal monthly fee which is a constant for every month but for billing him the extra time I could not find the solution. Please help me.

To be more clear about my problem I am adding this. The monthly billed amount becomes different for recursive billing. The extra time what I have mentioned will attract more amount than the normal monthly charge and hence the bill amount will change according to his usage. Please help me understand how to solve my problem? We are using itransact from cgdcommerce.

Are you talking about billing your client for something like extra bandwidth that they used that month?

I think it is better to contact your merchant provider and aks them can you have different types of recurring biling products. A regular one and a "penalty" one. We know nothnig about your billing software.

My requirement is very similar to what you have said? Just like billing for extra bandwidth used, I need my customers to be billed for the extra minutes they have used in that month along with their monthly charge. As I have said, I am using authorize.net from cdgcommerce.
