I'm looking for someone that has experience in building a site similar to www.youtube.com. One would have to be familiar with server side encoding and
php/mysql.

just to warn you, YouTube hasn't yet managed to monetize their site. Ads aren't profitable enough for them to even break even.

Yes I do realize youtubes.com financial situation (or the rumors of), but I have a client who is interested in developing a clone on a smaller level for a more specialized niche market. Sometimes a financial loss is just as good as a financial gain... just as any good accountant... lol.
