I've used cPanel for some years now, and found the "built in" MySQL management under cPanel makes it easy for an end user to add databases, then add users, etc. I can capture some images if people have never seen the screens...

I've recently started using VPS and using the hosting firm's control panel, have added MySQL 4, Mod PHP, and phpMyAdmin. I'm happy enough that phpMyAdmin is working, but for the end user it (currently) doesn't offer the helpful "front end" that has been available via cPanel, and I wonder if others have come across this type of "front end" ?

I know cPanel is not a free product but I don't know where to start looking for a similar "front end", and hope someone can give me a pointer or two, please.

I've not put this in the VPS section, though a moderator might feel it should be there...
It seemed to me it could fall under either one but is a software add-on I'm looking for, so put it here.

What you are looking is a control panel. If you look for a free one, try looking for Webmin. If you are looking an affordable commercial one, my suggestion is DirectAdmin or Plesk 30 domains.
