My name is Ian Young. I've never frequented WHT before but I've heard much of it. I once ran and helped run different websites with vgamin.com but stopped working with websites around 1 or 2 years ago. I'd like to propose a business opportunity to anyone who might be interested:

My friend, Jeff and I are highly involved in the skateboarding industry and we are planning on creating a website. It would be an all skateboarding website, ranging from trick tips, to video reviews, to featurettes, etc. (Video premieres, etc). Eventually we'd also be selling boards, bearings, etc. No joke, we've been skating for the majority of our lives and with the right hoster, designer, and programmer we plan to create a very successful website.

Basically we are looking for a nice sleek design, nothing fancy, something that will load fairly quick. We need a CMS that would allow us to post news articles, features, photo galleries, videos, etc. We would also be looking for a forum as well.

So, to sum it up, we need:

1.) A web host.
2.) A design
3.) A CMS
If any of you guys are up to the task please reply to this topic, or if you have any opinions please feel free to share them! I appreciate all the help you guys! I can design your site for you. As far as CMS goes, I would go with free ones. Personally, I design for phpBB and wordpress.

For just the design (PSD, coded index, and subpage), I would charge $120. Adding content is more, and would need to be calculated in.

We've got a designer sorted. We still need a coder and a webhost. I'm getting tons of offers and I really do appreciate all your help.

For the coding, I'd need someont to be able to integrate a quality CMS (premade, whatever, doesn't matter) into our layout and also code a forum as well. We basically just need the site to where we can log in and update every aspect of the site from there. That's it. Let me know if you can help me on that and see if we can come to an estimate.

I am getting a lot of people whom I can't near afford though. For this coding job 50 is probably the max that we can pay, I know it may seem like nothing but money doesn't grow on trees. If you are intersted please do contact me.

We are now looking for a coder to code the layout with a cms and basically just get the site up and running

We just want to have the site to the degree where we can login from an admin area and add everything to the site.
