Hello people,

Have you problems today with a new domains register and DNS change or refresh?

We have problems with enom and irpnet...

Have you problems with this question?

My domain at enom did not refresh for a 12 hours.
they usually refresh DNS every 10-15 minutes

Is very strange... yes usually DNS refresh is in 10 minutes... (.com, .net)

We have this problem with two domain names, one new register on enom, and another in irpnet (DNS change).

Actually, I think this depends on your ISP caching DNS results - in no case the registrars.

You can check the registry's whois records have the updates reached their system. If they have, then all depends on your ISP.

We register domains from 4 years, and this is not a problem my friend. In 2006 usually the refresh and new register are update in 10 minutes, no more.

Doctor_Web, DNS caching has nothing to do with for how long you register domains (BTW, my first one was registered back in 1996) or which year we live in... It's just how some ISPs have setup *their* DNS.

You are correct but there is some problem with DNS getting updated today... it shows new nameservers in the domain but still resolves to old nameservers (even at dnsstuff) even after 12 hours now!

It is not ISP caching DNS results
I tried more than 10 different lookup locations, it show correct name servers but resolve to nothing (no A records). I have total control for both of my name servers (root access) and all records are OK.
I tried many other diagnostic tool and I am 100% that problem is with Enom. They did not refresh their DNS for 12 hours or more.

I think it's the highest time to start posting domains in question...
