Is there any other good free web site monitoring service (similar to QwkMon.com)? I tried InternetSeer but it's not accurate.

Is this what your looking for? twrs 05-22-2002, 02:37 PM Well, I'm actually looking for an online free monitoring service, like QwkMon or NetMechanic Server Check Pro. mrtorrent 05-22-2002, 02:41 PM The only good free one I've found so far is http://uptime.alal.com/uptime/ twrs 05-22-2002, 03:07 PM mrtorrent, thanks! It looks like a great free monitoring service! Mxhub 05-23-2002, 06:30 AM Look interesting. Thank for that recommedation. brav0 05-23-2002, 07:34 AM I use www.easymonitor.com it's free and it works great. 9onlinehost 05-23-2002, 08:42 AM qwkmon isnt free its a trial =( after 2 months of using it i get an email stating that my free trial is up in a week and i must join to continue the monitoring service. Now my percents never worked so im not sure if im going to go with qwkmon i dont really like or feel there service is acurate i do like internetseer though there reports are more acurate. fractiousws 05-23-2002, 10:37 PM Originally posted by brav0 I use www.easymonitor.com it's free and it works great. Looks good :) beley 05-24-2002, 12:21 AM I've used www.1stwarning.com because you can set up unlimited domains for free... but it only checks every 3 hours. They charge for higher plans. I'm currently using ServersAlive (http://www.woodstone.nu/salive/) - it's a program that sits on your computer so if you dont' have a dedicated connection to the Internet (cable, dsl) it probably won't work for you. However, it can check at any interval you wish and they have a free version for download. They only difference is that the paid version ($90) has support for unlimited domains/checks while the free version is limited to a small number (I think 10) I've been using it for about 3 months now and it works really well... it's even got pager/email notification, stats, etc. |
