Anyone know what the hell is going on at Net Infrastructure today? I found my server inaccessible last night, and it's still inaccessible today. Their customer support portal is useless because their SQL server is down, and emails to the support address bounce because their mail server is dead. Over 12 hours this is going on now, what in gods name are they doing?

phones are there for you to use to call in situations like this. the possible could be getting DoSd, they could have had a major backbone go down... any number of things.

if they're a respectable service, they should ahve their stuff together and will be back online soon. trust me, you and every other person on their network is saying the same thing.

Pretty presumptous for a first reply Charles. Is this the kind of attitude I'm going to get from Rackshack when I ask questions about the server I'm replacing my Net Infrastrcture machine with?

Point of fact, I emailed Net Infrastructure twice last night, only to discover this morning that their mail server was down. I've been phoning since 10AM this morning - from Ireland - but no-one was answering the phones. When I finally got through, they /didn't know/ that the SQL server on their customer support site was down. And it's still down.

I respect Net Infrastructure, I've had a server in their original data centre for about three years now. Their support has always been impeccable, second to none, and Tom has always been particularly easy to get on with. But please don't play down my server being offline for over 12 hours (and counting).

FYI, Net Infra tell me that the MBR on my machine was corrupted. I find this an odd coincidence, since the machine has been running for months and has never crashed, however it's back up and running now which is the important thing.
