Just a bit of research.

If you wanted a third party product to manage all of your clients - what sort of features would you want?

For example:

The ability to store name, username, pass, domain, tel etc

Then things like the ability to email automatically by one click and stuff.

What is your ideal customer management solution you would like?

Would you want it hosted online or as an offline product - perhaps run on PWS or IIS if you are a win user?

Any opinions grateful on what you would be after/looking for.

I have recently designed a package to manage our customers, it is very basic but stores all the client information needed and i included a few links to pages that have the email body filled in with the clients details ready to go (taken from SQL DB) which saves us a lot of time when confirming accounts and sending out account details as its just a few clicks and its done.

But I would like an offline database just the same, and if possible one that uploads the added/edited portfolio's to a web server for other members of the company to download when they do go online, would be good if that was done in the background automatically via FTP but im not sure if it is possible.
