Hello everyone,

Can anyone experienced in selling domains help with the following question. Do I have a chance to sell a domain for a good price if it is quite valuable , but was registered just some two weeks ago?
I have registered a couple of domains recently (and they are not 60 days old), but I feel that I will rather not develop them myself, so I would like to sell them. So, does the age matter so much that the price will be sufficiently lower?

Thanks,

Some people only value domains that are registered at Network Solutions, before 1999-2000 (because 98% of REALLY good domains meet that criteria). BUT if your domains are really good, their age doesn't really matter.

Well, I don't claim that the domain names are very valuable, but I hope that some people will be interested. I just wanted to know about the importance of their age.
You made it clear for me. Thank you.

Age isn't immaterial. Sometimes it's important, sometimes not. The reality is almost all the best names have been regged a long time already. The chances of registering a very valuable name today are probably worse than attempting to win the lottery. Apart from the "I must have this domain crowd" the value of a domain is mostly based upon the revenue (and sometimes traffic) it is, or potentially could, generate. A newly regged domain cannot usually demonstrate these favourable statistics. Of course, there are always exceptions, and if by any chance your reg a valuable name today and sell it for a ton of money tomorrow, consider that your won the lottery and invest your money wisely.
