Hi Guys.

Has anyone ever used MaxMind for their fraud protection and if so can anyone give a review of the services?

We've signed up for a free trial but would like to hear other peoples experience with it before we make our final decision.

Greetings:

We've been using their service, and it works rather well.

Jeffery from http://www.hspheretemplates.com/ has an add-on package which integrates this service into H-Sphere.

H-Sphere already has signup guard so MaxMind plus Signup guard equals a lot of piece of mind when it comes to order processing.

Thank you.

Thanks dynamicnet.

We're going to give the trial a go and see what happens as it integrates with ClientExec as well which is what we're currently using. Seems to do what we're looking for so will see how it runs I suppose.

Like what we've seen so far so think we'll go with them whe the trial expires.

Does it work just as good as it does in the States & Canada with countries such as Russia, India & Pakistan?

It seems to but we've only just implemented the free trial, will feed back when we get a few more signups from the listed countries.

We too have recently started using MaxMind Fraud Protection, and I have to say, it's a fantastic asset!

We've had several blocked so far, and it's just a question of finding the right score at which to block signups.

Do you also block free email addresses?
