I've read a lot of topics here, but I haven't found a clear topic with Windows 2003 Reseller account, Asp, Asp.net 1.0-2.0, php, etc.. and Mysql + Mssql Unlimited.

Why unlimited (max db space = hosting space)?
Because I have some dbs, and they are of about 100Mb.. growing fast.

At the moment I have a Windows 2003 Reseller plan with GetNetSmart.com. GetNetSmart bought Windows Server from Exovian.
I have to say that uptime is always be great (100% last 3 months).. and now support is better than in the past.
But I have 1000Mb space and 25Gb Transfer for 134.3$ / year.
And I'm looking for more webspace, and if it is possible, I would like to move my hosting in Europe.
My customers and the most of the traffic is European..

I know hosting like
Varhosting.com
************.com
cyberhostpro.com
jodohost.com

About varhosting.. I've bought a WinReseller plan yesterday.. WR1 (9.95$ monthly)..
There has been 3-4 downtime period of 5-10 minutes in my first 14 hours. Someone tells me that it's a good hosting company.
I don't think that 5-10 minutes downtime, after that 5-10 minutes uptime, and again downtime..
I couldn't connect with two ftp accounts uploading 2 sites or 2 thread to make faster the upload in the same time.
And the Mysql limit for the execution of sql in Phpmy Admin. Not more than 400 insert rows -_-
And so I've just requested money back.
Perhaps I'm requesting too much for what I want to pay..

Are there any good hosting company with this packages? And any European company?

Please post hosting of any price ^_^

Thanks a lot everyone in advance.

I use cyber host pro for both a reseller account and dedicated. my reseller includes MS SQL, there is not a 100mb limit with them, the space just comes out the packages disk space that you signup for.

actually services and quality will depend of the budget also :)

since you're happy with them - any idea why they don't publish their hosting plans on the web site?

Their plans are not published on their web site.

CyberHost Pro does have plans listed. Seems he is referring someone else. Can you please be more specific and clear.

yes, it's GetNetSmart
I don't really know why they don't publish their hosting plans.

Their support is provided by email, there is no ticket support system or an order script. I have sent them only an e-mail asking for information about them and a technical question (= Port 1433 and 3306 are blocked by the firewall.. Exovian or someone else... ghosts I think set them and so I can't connect remotely to dbs).
Well, I've received the answer after 15 minutes, and 1 hour later for the technical question, sent about 22.00~ GMT 0

Cyberhostpro seem very good but I haven't got too many customers.. For me now it's too expensive..

Are there some good experience with Jodohost?

they may be a v.small host if they dont have a ticket system nor publish their plans.

I'm new here, but I had to respond to this post. GetNetSmart did acquire exovian's windows hosting accounts. I suspect they don't list their plans because they can't keep their servers up. I am a reseller there and our sites are down 5-6 times a day, and have been for about 4 weeks. The owner, Dwight, doesn't respond to support requests and ignores the downtime.

ok, i feel better.

Hey there,

Sorry to hear your sites offline. Have you thought about maybe looking for a new host?

I found a hosting company called mds-host.com. I couldn't find many bad reviews about them, most were really good. I thought about iPower, but their support has been bad. They are there, for sure, but they aren't that knowledgeable.

I think that we aren't on the same server.

But in the last week I had got downtime but they answer me saying that they were working to solve the issue..
Yesterday about 2 hours -_-.. In the last 3 moths the uptime was of 100%..

If I may interject, don't use the word unlimited with MSSQL. From what I understand the host has to pay a SPLA fee for either the databases or the server processor and the amount of databases is going to be limited to how much resources you have available on the server. As we all know, MSSQL is a resource hog so unlimited is a term that doesn't work too well...

True, its not so easy like MySQL where you can cluster it over X servers. MS SQL 2000/2005 etc is not cheap, SPLA is a monthly cost and is high.

MS SQL consume lot of resources and there it is not fair to use work unlimited with Windows Hosting .If any host is offering unlimited MS SQL support than overall system perfromance is bound to suffer

( if possible simply scrap windows hosting & sleep better.Windows Hosting are not that rigid and stable like Linux Hosting .Performance , good uptime , ton of features you get with Linux)
