Hello there friends,

I just want to tell you that i found ResellerZoom to be greatest host reseller for normal and small websites. I only got their B-1 plan as i didn't need more yet.

I have 3 x B-1 account with them for different hosting purposes. One of the accounts is on www.romprovider.com and other one is on www.axis-hosting.com and 3rd, that i bought yesterday will be on www.fmediahost.com. I want to tell you that i'm really satisfied on their service. I hated these days to wait for the account to be ready, but now it is ok.

I didn't like this part because i emailed especially to sales to ask for an account WITHOUT actually paying for it as i was in a hurry. Kiet replyed and he gave me the OK and said i have 7 days to pay. After all, that day, i made the money so i placed the order normaly and payed instantly through moneybookers.com. What i didn't like is that since friday i got the answer barely today for the new account creation. It's OK though, but i don't like the idea of waiting so much for the account.

What it did REALLY make me feel good is that i noticed it's a brand new server. It only has 1% on home occupied so i guess it's brand new. Right now i got accounts on clay, japan and rusk servers. All 3 are running great.

So now i have accounts with 3 reseller account providers: VarHosting, ResellerZoom and MKOH. in the order of preference would be:

VarHosting and ResellerZoom on 1st place.
MKoH on second or even 3rd :)

Have a good day guys.

THX for reading this.

How long have you been with resellerZoom ? 3 months ? As can be inferred from his post, he has 3 accounts with them, the first one being opened 3 months ago.

What it did REALLY make me feel good is that i noticed it's a brand new server. It only has 1% on home occupied so i guess it's brand new.IMO it's a good thing, and a not so good thing. An empty server is an unknown variable. Who knows how it'll be when it's labeled as full? :)

I checked all my 3 accounts on them and i have like none more then 30-40% HOME full on the entire server. So i guess they keep their servers on a normal rate of filling it.

I'm with VarHosting since January 2005.
I'm with MKoH since January 2006.
I'm with ResellerZoom since January/February 2006.

I'm quite satisfied with all. Best support i consider on VarHosting, but that's maybe because i never needed real support from ResellerZoom. As for MKoH... i still didn't get email back from them when i asked why an account is suspended. I just seen the account unsuspended. But no aswer.

hehe...

Is your reseller with VarHosting a Budget or Power or Premium plan ?

I completely agree. The hosting business gets bad rep by host who have bad customer service. It's good to see a fellow company "do it right, the first time."

I love ResellerZoom. After over a year and 48 domains later - I can say they are simply the best.

Wow 48 domains!

Any problems with them? Like downtime, losing data etc?
I read their pages and I thought they were really good but I need a great host that does backups because I have 3 fansites and if I lose everything....that is the end lol.

Ultimately, as per the TOS, it is you, not your host who's responsible for having backups. ;)

To this point, no problem at all. When I upgraded from Budget to Advanced plan, there was no loss of data and was handled completely by the support team at ResellerZoom.

I agree totally with what ldcdc said. Backups are the responsibility of the web host. ResellerZoom does nightly and weekly backups (see paragraph below) but I still like to have my own set ... just in case.

The following is direct from the ResellerZoom Website:
Backups
We do nightly backups and weekly offsite backups on Sunday however we make no guarantee that we'll have a backup for your account. We will make every attempt to restore a backup of your site on request however we encourage you to do your own backup. We will not be responsible for incomplete backups and do not provide any compensation in the event that the backup is not current.
