Automated account set-up.

Is it a good idea or too dangerous to think about?
A customer grabber or a hacker attractor?

What are your experiences if you have an automated set-up system?

You attract spammers... on the otherhand some people wan't instant activation. Our staff look over every order that is submitted to us.

We have recently moved to an automated setup and it has increased geniune sales - but on the downside, we are getting more fraudulent orders. They are easy to spot and there is not much they can do b4 the domain kicks in but it is hassle.

The time we save by the auto setup is offset by the time wasted filtering out the dodgey ones :(

Well don't advertise it ;), just have it in place. This way keeps the fraud out, and keeps your job easy.
