Hello
I have a question about the packages you offer your local customers. Let's say you offer managed hosting to local business. What exactly do you offer as the 'managed' (worry-free) solution. I mean - the hosting package itself is not a problem but what's the other stuff? Do you check and filter their email - maybe even fax it to them? What else?

Thanks for your input!

I don't think I have ever heard of "managed shared hosting"... Are you thinking of dedicated servers maybe?

Sorry for not being specific enough. I will sell web design and the related hosting to small businesses. Many small business don't even know how to handle a web site and the related things (or they don't want to handle this). That's what I want to take care of by selling a worry-free solution (managed hosting).

In that case.. Ummm.. I think your best bet might be charging a setup fee with the initial sign up and setup there user accounts and emails and so forth.. As far as managing SPAM well I dont think you could pay me enough to do that but maybe you could change like and extra 5 bucks a month or something.. But I would highly suggest thinking alot about this as who knows where people put there email addresses and how will you know what is SPAM to them and what might not me..
