Hi,

I have been visiting this board for a while and like it very much. This weekend i was looking for a simular resource for gameservers, since i'm trying to get more into that. But i could find it.
So i registered http://www.gamehostingtalk.com and wanted to start a forum like this one dedicated to gameserver hosting.
Please come and visit my new board once a while and make it just as good as this board.

I know my board isn't much now. But i know there is a hugh demand for gameservers and not much resources. So the board will grow.

I don't want to compete with this board, i just want to expand the resources for gameservers.

Like, are you going to have any advertising forums where a post about my new board would be on-topic?

Well, i have to work on that yet. But i want to use a simular kind of policy that's maintained here. No advertising on places where it doesn't belong.

And about the rip of part. I don't want to rip off Webhostingtalk. I even contacted them about working together. I'm here for the same reason they are running this board. I used the same concept because it's good, not because i want to compete or insult people. I want to start a valuable resource for game hosting, not for webhosting. WHT is there for the webhosting part. I'm just starting this because i see a lack of resources for this kind of hosting and it's very popular at the moment. So lots of people can benefit from it. I hope you want to help too.

Seems you may have missed JayC's bit of sarcasm. I think you'll find he (and myself for that matter) think this thread would be better placed in advertising... seeing as you're advertising your forum.

I think i've got it.. A solution for the daily host bashing.. http://www.hostbashingtalk.com .. Best of luck with your forums sounds like a good idea to me even though I don't play any games.. Well I'm off to GoDaddy.
