for over 2 months now, my server ip from rs.net points to a wrong domain (which is also on rs.net network but not mine).
when trying to access my raq's control panel, my login information does not work - i guess because it's the other server answering to my request.
whenever i submittet a tt, login worked (through either ssh or control panel) but when i wanted to edit something, it prompted me for my pwd, which, of course, did not work.
now, i received the following reply to my tt, describing my above problem:

if you would like to cancel your server please send an email to cust_service@rackshack.net confirming this information:
Full Name on the account -
First four and the last four digits with the expiration date of the credit card we have on file -
Login and password for your account -
IP address of the server you wish to cancel -
Reason your want to discontinue your service -
Thank you
Closing ticket.
well, let me think... i ordered the server because i wanted to use it. now, if i would cancel the server, i would have to pay the setup fee again, is this how rs.net makes it's cashflow?
has anybody else had problems like me? e.g. the domain my ip points to?
best regards,
martin
