Cityhosts.net are a good webhost ive been with them for a while and had no down time and no problems and they set the account up in no time they offer custom plans also i am in the uk and they have there main business in Australia & The US and they gave me a quote for a VERY GOOD custom plan. if you ask any other customer of cityhosts.net they will say they get support in minutes of a problem (me thinks the web master dont sleep much) They offer next to everything you will need. i still aint found any one who is nhappy with them!

Not a bash on this host, but what made you select a host that started in Feb, uses a black logo on a dark blue background, bright yellow pricing tables, and a message that says:

"We are in the middle of
redesigning our whole site,
this is just a temporary one."

I am just curious. There are so many host out there, that it facinates me someone would choose these guys over another considering all the "here today - gone tomorrow" host around.

So, you were not a customer "yet", but you know they have great support and is dedicated to customers. How did you know that?

Well, we shouldn't be to hard on him - he says in that post that he's been using their hosting for a while (for free) so I guess it's OK.

Try www.energy4.com thats the old name of cityhosts. Just because a domain hasn't been registered that long doesn't mean it's a new company. Also if you actually read the site properly, it's said that there is a new design on the way.

In the about bit it's also mentions about dataware systems which has been going or was going a few years ago.

Actually there is no flame. Only simple questions. Thanks for your input, you seem to know a lot about them. Does dataman = dataware?

I just do my reading :D Actually I know the guy, as he's a friend, and we started out together, but I couldn't be bothered with the time so I gave up a couple of months ago, but I know he is up sometimes more than 2-3 days without sleep supporting his customers. Ask anyone he hosts what he is like, you will get good feedback.

Ha!! I appologise for the REALLY bad design, I know it hurts my eye's to look at it as well.
I've been waiting for the design for about 2 months now, so I had to do this one, it only took me about 2 hours so what more can I say :D

I did the forum ok I think, which actually took longer than the site. he!!

My old design I think was much better, but stupid me deleted it, unless I still have it on disc backup somewhere.

Anyway, hope you lot forgive me for the bad design and the strain on your eye's.

Thanks Guys for the input anyway and I'll post here when My new design up, and you can tell me what you think of it.

I'm not sure what the gripe is about City's site...it doesn't look terrible to me...maybe a better graphics card or monitor is in that gentlemen's future. I have seen waaaaaaaaaaaaay worse before!:D

I'm just changing the design now, so hopefully it will look better until my main site has been finished.

I hope the one I'm doing now will be better.

I agree with a post a few above their site isn't to terrible.

I've just redone the whole site, just uploaded it about 2 mins ago, so I hope it looks a little better now.

The new new site will be done soon I hope, which is very nice looking.

roby2k is NOT cityhosts.

I've been a member of cityhosts for about a month now. Tom's great on the support, and always quick to reply to pleas for help on the forum (roby2k posts on the forum, i doubt anyone would invent fake users on a help forum)
