Just an FYI.

I had a reseller account with a company called senchihost for a while and everything was going great. They managed the server well and I had nothing to complain about. Senchihost sold to gmserver.com and the entire sale and transfer went horrible. First came a server move which I was not made aware of. Next came a server outage which I had to email several times about before getting an awswer, when finally I was told they did not know much about Direct Admin and that the server had a failure and all the data was lost but they would be happy to set me up on cpanel if I wanted. I said no that I wished to stay with a company using DA and if I could just get a refund. They said sure and that it would take fifteen days. I had not heard anything for 2 weeks and emailed back and at that time they told me again another 15 days. It has since been 20 more days with no response. I have found another host who gave me a great deal (thanks to the DA forums) and am back up and running but I would be careful of using gmserver.com - at least from my experience.

Dear Malcom,

First of all we have sent 3 different emails to all senchi clients about the server problems since it went down due to a bad communication between owners.

We also sent an email telling all the clients to move to our main servers, and so did the 70% of them. All your emails was answered on time, however some of them was rejected because of your spam block (junk mail).

Just an example: On your ticket today, we got this email back from our automatic response to each new ticket:

" This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.
Delivery to the following recipients failed. (your email has been deleted for security reasons)"

Second reason we didn't do the refund on time was: you paid using a creditcard with our merchant processor, and you asked us to send you the money to your PayPal account. That will take some time, as our policy is to refund using the same method the client used to make the payment.

I highly recommend you to take a look at our mailbox before you register at WHT and start a thread blamming us.

I'm waiting for your answer.

Regards,
Andre Hennings

I dont want to get into a long debate over this. I would have taken a refund to my Card or PayPal. I was simply giving YOU options since you said Card refunds took more time and or work to complete.

My point in all this is.

My data was lost!
It has been two months and I have not received a refund!

I should not have posted something here but I am getting nowhere with emails to you. I did recieve your email (which was not blocked) asking the last four digits of my card number. (after posting here maybe I am finally getting somewhere)

If and when I receive the refund I will post it here mentioning that you did follow through.
