Im using cPanel for web hosting. In cPanel the user name will be generated according to the domain name we entered i.e if the domain name is 'samplefile.com' then the user name will be "sampef" like that.(first few letters of the domain)

For user name these are o.k. But the default email id created with this account has the username itselef. e.g. sampef@samplefile.com.

Can we modify the mail id later? b'cas mail ids like contact, mail, info or accountholders name is prefered one. But we have some irrelevant name such as 'samplf'. is it possible to enter the prefered email id name as user name? or
it can be changed later as our wish?

Please help me to solve this.

You would login to cPanel for the particular domain name, then Manage Accounts under the Email section (bluelagoon theme, although similiar for the standard X theme) and add/delete email addresses for your domain there. :)

1)How to change the default main email account name which is also login name for controlpanel login. If we change the main mail account name then the login name is also changed?

2) is there any option to forward mails form the main account some other mail id?
I can make forwarders for other mail ids except this main id.

Ahh ok, I get you now... I apologize! It's now 5am and it has been a long day. :)

To change the default login name for cPanel (and the email you circled) you would do this from within WHM under "Modify an Account".

I don't know for sure about your second question, although you could always try modifying: /etc/valiases/yourdomain.com and adding something like:

vishalen: some@email.com

... again, not 100% sure if that will work for that primary email account.
