Potential warning to any hosts out there over a user on these board by the name of Kylecool. A year ago client signed up and got a 6 months hosting + 6 months free. Renewal came up around 2 weeks ago

10th April a renewal was sent

19th April a manual reminder was sent and login details sent

21st April no client contact so the account was suspened and client then paid.

21st April I inspected the account closer and found copyrighted MP3 on the server so the account was resuspened

23rd April client cancels and then immediatly issues a chargeback

Now I accept that he had 6 days of service however he doesn't seem to understand that he is liable under the TOS so he just decided he wanted his money back. Just something to watch out for if you are dealing with him.

As long as your TOS has something along the lines of "no refunds," just dispute the chargeback and you should win.

Thats already in progress. Been here a million times. The TOS says no refunds after the firs 7 days, which was over 12 months ago now for this client
