Hi,

I'm in the market for a good but cost effective reseller plan. My main intention is to host multiple domains for my own use rather than simply reselling space to clients.

The most fiscally sound reseller plan that I have found thus far is from CFHhosting.com which is $10 per month for 500 MB to distribute amongst 50 domains at 5GB transfer. The only reservations I have is their non-acceptance of a payment by credit card option (the closest substitute is via Paypal) and a mediocre looking web page that seems to indicate a lack of professionalism.

Has anyone else seen other hosting plans that can do better? I'm definitely not interested in paying on a per domain or a per private DNS basis. I much prefer packaged deals (i.e. 30 domains on this value account).

A lot of people seem to think "whatever package offers the most features for the least money must be best". While there are certainly bargains out there, generally speaking -- and once you have resold more accounts you will realize this: it would be worth paying a little extra for faster support, non-overloaded servers and more reliability.

So often a more expensive package might be, at the end of the day, better value for money. That isn't to say that the price automatically dictates the quality, but for $10 a month with 50 domains you can probably forget about support and fast, non-overloaded servers.

They'd have to be very low volume sites for all 50 of 'em to fit into a $10/mth plan. That is unless they're carving up a RS box with 600GB data transfer/mth or something.
