With all due respect I'm not sure I understand you.

Do you mean you want to change the registrar?

I can change dns of my .eu domains within the control panel and updates to your domains information eg: technical ...etc is free - I've done it a few times to update my info.

Regarding charges EuroDNS (http://www.eurodns.com) advertise these clearly (to my understanding) on the Prises link on the main page in the menu.

For Information: Free services included with all domains. (http://www.eurodns.com/info/free_services.php)

Kind regards

If you're simply wanting to change nameservers to point to a web host just goto dns profile create the nameservers and then change the default eurodns.com nameservers to your other created nameservers - it's free.

I've just done the above with no problems.

You can change your details for your domain free as is the change of nameservers.

Hope this helps

Take a look at http://www.eurodns.com/info/price.php There's indeed a fee for .gr domains, but you should not say they charge it automatically as it sounds for any domain. Maybe you should transfer away from them if you're unhappy? EuroDNS looks expensinve for .gr, for example http://www.ip.gr/en/main/index.php has much lower prices. I have not used IP.gr for anything, just something Google found.

Hi

Login to your EuroDNS control panel and in the menu on the left click dns Profiles > Click Add a new dns profile > Enter Nameservers 1 and 2 > Click Save Modification.

Then in the menu again on the left click Default Settings.
You'll see the default contacts for your domains:
Organisation, Admin, technical and billing. Under that is Default DNS Profile.

Change this from your EuroDNS dns profile to the newly created dns profile you created by doing the above first paragraph.

Click Confirm Changes

Wait for dns servers around world to update to your new dns settings.

All the above is free and under your control.

Hope this helps.

Hi I've checked your new dns profile and checked that you have set these as default.

Both are correct :)

Your new settings will take effect within 24-48 hrs - please allow this time for your new nameservers to propagate.

Kind regards

Use the DNS option next to your domain at EuroDNS.
Change all the IP's to '85.128.144.62' including mail and the @ sign.
Make sure you click 'save settings'.
This will manually point your domain at your webhost's IP.
I worked this out by checking your webhost's nameservers for tele2.gr at 'dnsreport.com'.

Can a mod lock this or delete it maybe? Maybe even change the topic title at the least?

Fear:
People will see this and assume that there's an issue with EuroDNS and, even if they read the first post, think that there's an insane fee for editing the nameservers which, frankly, there isn't.

I'm not sure if I should report it because, well, the point behind WHT was achieved and the end-user got the help they needed. But I worry that it will reflect bad on a company for no reason.

I'm, by no means, affiliated with said company - I'd tell you if I was just as fast as I'd jump on a post and agree that they were scammers if that was also true - but in this case it could be a matter of WHT's topics (not the company itself) making a company look bad.

I'd suggest - just a suggestion - that someone mod the topic to read "EuroDNS Configuration Troubles" to be more accurate? Just an idea because, well, as it sits it is an invite to think that there's actually something wrong with them and a reason to beware them.

I admit their control panel isn't logical but it works. Just something to think about and to change if it can be done? Closed, removed, etc? I feel pretty strongly about saying that I'm comfortable vouching for them and while that means nothing, I'm sure, it does mean that I'm familiar with them and know that there's no reason to put "beware" anything in this topic's title.

Thanks or, well, not thanks maybe but it's something that's pretty much wrong or misleading and that's not what (I think) WHT is about doing. Freedom to say your mind when it's backed up with evidence? Sure. But when it's misleading by title and we all KNOW how often people actually read, it might be worth looking at a bit deeper.

I guess I'll also hit the report button? Sorry if that's the wrong route.
