Hi,
Does anyone have experience with hosting-made-simple.com and if so could you please let us know. We were unfortunately clients of Hellohost and now need a new host that has resellers packages.
Thanks

a new host. How can you find them out? The only information is they are using LT server, that can bring you good hardware and network. But the server is stable or not, it depends on the admin.

They wrote here offering their services and their php support seems good. Still like some reviews please.

Indeed, a new host (http://whois.domaintools.com/hosting-made-simple.com) so finding feedback on them is going to be particularly hard. The uptime seems to be really good though. 120 days of continuous uptime according to the button on their website?

That does indicate reliability of a sort, but it also is suggestive of inattention as they haven't upgraded their kernel or done a test reboot in that time. For instance, I think there have been two Linux/RH/Centos kernel updates in the last 4 months.

http://host-tracker.com/web-site-monitoring-stats/86448/?full_period=false&task_to_details=86448&show_days=true#details shows they had a very short downtime on 2006-01-07.

That is always nice to see, however that is a third party vendor. So getting the most accurate would be hard. Also as stated before the company is new. How are they getting 120 day uptimes?

Sorry I haven't seen this post untill now. We have three admins who always monitor our servers, and takeing care of our clients is a priority for us. We do set the uptime check to 5 minutes when we do a reboot on the server (almost once every other month, or when needed) at a late hour. We send an email to all clients before this is to be done roughly 8 hours before rebooting, just to keep our clients informed. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me: roman{at}hosting-made-simple.com. I would be glad to answer any questions you may have.
