I invite you all to take part at http://www.xerohost.com/index.php .

We are hoping to build up a strong community of users, who can help each other with problems, suggest workarounds, and have friendly cpanel-related chat.

Before anyone asks, I am not interested in the slightest in advertisements on the forums. They remain solely for Cpanel related support, and are not connected with Voxtreme.

These are not-for-profit forums, so I hope I'm ok posting here...

Great idea! At the same time I had installed my own version of alternative CPanel forums at http://cpanelthems.com/forum

I believe that users can help users more efficient and most of the time quicker. So, CPanel community, let's fill these alternative forums with life.

Did they stop the forums or just doing work on them?

I never heard anything at all.

Ok, I found the thread here..

Someone should see if he would hand over the database of the forums, there are lot's of valuable tips that would be lost.

We also have a cPanel support Area at cPanelGui.com forums, everyone is welcome to use.

Exactly, who ever is trying to get a alternative cpanel forums, should approach them to get the database, as it does have quite good information there.

I really don't think 3 alternate forums is a good idea- having more than one forum will cause confusion and will be an inconvenience to users. I think it would be wise to get together and decide which of you is in the best position to take on this new task, and make arrangements for the others to help out. Good luck.

Good to hear they will be back. I'll leave the ones at xerohost.com running until they come back up.

Would now be a good time to use different software for the Cpanel forums? IMHO, they always seem to pick the worst software....

Good to hear that the CPanel forums will be back. Let's all hope that they actually use a better forum while setting up the new server.

They could have taken two minutes to post a notice at cpanel.net to avoid the mass hysteria and the resulting flood of emails and phone calls.

Oh well.. they do work most of the time. :D

phpBB2 is really good for being a free forum. If they're not going with vB, I hope they choose that.
