http://whois.domaintools.com/packedhost.com shows it to be a new host/brand (some 3 months old). It'll be hard to find any fedback on them.

The uptime listed on their website (99.73%) isn't particularly encouraging.

Not speaking for them personally one way or the other, but would it be reasonable to believe that perhaps the slightly lower uptime is a result of their new beginning? Perhaps there were lots of server reboots to get everything running just so?

In the space of three months no server, new or old, should need 5+ hours worth of reboots.

It's my hosting company actually.
I had to install a few security patches and upgrade a few parts of the control panel. The downtimes were during off-peak hours and none of my clients even noticed it. Any downtime is still downtime, but it was due to maintenance..
