I'm launching a site soon, and need one graphic flashed (aprox 400x100px). I have the base graphic, and just want some lowkey effects layered over it in a loop. Nothing too distracting, but something that's visually interesting.

Right now, I'm just seeking some general ideas of what people would charge for this, and whether people would be open to trade of programming or anything instead of cash.

I'd like to get a short list of names that I can contact when I'm ready (in a week or so)... if anyone has any samples of what they can do, I'd love to see.

I can do the flash work for you if you like. It will prolly cost you somewhere around 20-30 by paypal depending on what you need. If it's real tough, the highest price I will charge you is $50.

Swish is okay, but flash has so many more options! This could be done with swish, it would just take a bit of work. If I were him I would want to hire someone. That's just me trying to think what it would be like to not know Flash MX... :rolleyes:

Yes that is very true but for me ,its the experience in learning something new i understand not every one thinks like me but it could be the same for this person

I dont use flash or swish i tried swish but never had the time plus they have a trial period for the program so if he/she cant figure it out nothing has bee lost except some time right?

Swish doesn't really do what I want. I've used it before. I've used flash before too, but not since flash 4 was first released, and I don't have time for a refresher course in it.

James, do you have any samples of flash stuff you've done?

I PMed you with links to stuff... The only samples are for a business I am starting, and they need to be kept under wraps. I am trusting you! :D
