Is it me, or has Enom's whois server have been down very often, or just not up at all? Everytime I look up a domin on Enom's server, it always says

Sorry, Enom's WHOIS server is down. Please try again later

OR

We're sorry, due to high demand on our WHOIS servers, your request cannot be processed. Please try your request again shortly.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I just used Enom's website whois without any problems.

Check if you are doing whois directly on Enom.com and try multiple domains.

Your problem may be related to only selected domains.

You may be banging too hard, they might be blocking your ip

Sorry, Enom's WHOIS server is down. Please try again laterI only see that when I use third party whois servers like Whois.sc (now DomainTools.com).

I've never had eNom's whois service give me that error when I used it directly.

You might want to use old good command line whois. I never experienced this problem with eNom while using Linux shell.
